Square-One Fluidics Rig
Before the development of the Auto-Aligning, Spring-Loaded Pipette Adapter, there were designs produced and aimed towards creating a fully customary fluidics rig from scratch.
It was a solution to automate quantifying a large volume of silica nitrite nanopore chips.
In finding a CNC pen engraver assembly with a stepper motor, brackets, and other necessary hardware assembled, it was seen to be quicker to order the CNC pen engraver assembly and adapt it for delivering automatic fluid delivery once it was determined that 10 of the same units could be quickly acquired.
