Test Strip Pressurizer
During the early development of TwoPoreGuys’ test strip consumables, there were issues with leaking accruing at material junctions when a solution was injected.

In troubleshooting the issue, I was tasked with designing and making a rig that could help find leaks.

The Test Strip pressurizer seals all the test strip’s injection points with rubber o-rings and pressurizes the fluidic channels with air.

The entire rig is submerged underwater so that the bubbles produced from leaks would give away the location of weak points from the lamination process, thus allowing for both confirmations of leaks from a bad test strip, and helping to prototype new designs to fix the flaw.
