DNA Hubby
After creating and some refinement of TwoPoreGuys’ Helix “Orca” device concept for their universal biosensor, a new interest grew for a similar concept but in a new device named DNA Hubby.
The DNA Hubby would allow for multiple consumables to be used at once so tests could be performed rapidly.
Each hub also had the option to be daisy-chained for increased hardware power and to be able to run even more tests at once if desired.
This was all still towards the beginning of TwoPoreGuys, so the thoughts, imagined design, and function were all theoretical.
Even so, the idea and visualization of the DNA Hubby helped to explore the futuristic, light-driven aesthetics and feel TwoPoreGuys wanted their devices to have at the time. Despite a redesign for the DNA Hubby, this design was the most prominently featured in videos.
